Sikkim - Darjeeling Biking Tour [10 Days]
 Mountain Biking forms an important part of adventure tourism in Darjeeling. The natural terrain of the mountain region affords the adventure lovers with an exciting range of biking trails to choose from. This experience, which is more in the nature of sport, is great fun as the rider can come face to face with the people in the countryside and to pause to talk to them or to savour the scenic grandeur of the landscape or the beauty of flora and fauna. Itinerary
Day 01: Calcutta - Bagdogra- Gangtok (1547m)
Fly from Calcutta to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative. Drive to Gangtok via the Sikkim-Darjeeling border town of Rangpo. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at gangtok Gangtok (4hour drive)
Day 02: Gangtok - Martam Village (1363m)
Bike from Gangtok to Martam Village. The ride is mostly down hill from Gangtok to Rani Khola and than uphill al the way to Rumtek. Visit the Rumtek Monastery en route. Transfer to Resort/Lodge. Overnight at Martam.
Day 03: Martam- Temi (1448m)
The day starts with a downhill ride to Sirwani Bridge (350 m) over the Teesta River, followed by an uphill stretch to the Temi Tea garden.Transfer to lodge. Overnight at Temi.
Day 04: Temi Tea garden - Ravangla ( 2040m)
A short days bike ride to Ravangla (2040 m) via Damthang (2051 m). There is time in the afternoon to explore the Ralang Monastery. Lodge accommodation.
Day 05: Ravangla - Tashiding (1470m)
A gentle morning's ride, mainly downhill to Legship (520 m) followed by uphill to the campsite at Tashiding (1470 m). Camp accommodation.
Day 06: Tashiding - Yuksam
The day starts with an early morning visit to Tashiding monastery by foot. The rest of the day is spent biking Yuksam, the historical hamlet of Sikkim. Should have time for a trip to Dubdi monastery on foot. Hotel accommodation
Day 07: Yuksam - Pemayangtse (2085m)
A gradual uphill ride to Pemayangtse. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Pemayangtse - Darjeeling
Spend the day driving through to Darjeeling. O/N at Hotel.
Day 09: Darjeeling
Spent the day sightseeing in Darjeeling. Overnight at hotel
Day 10: Darjeeling – Bagdograbr. Transfer from Darjeeling to Bagdogra airport for your return flight to Calcutta/Bangkok.
