Lhasa-Gyangtse-Shigatse-Tingri-Mt. Everest Base Camp-Tingri-Lhasa (09 Days)

Day 01:  Fly to Lhasa
Take the flight into Tibet. Local guide will meet you and transfer you to Lhasa. The rest time is free for relax and more oxygen

Day 02:  Lhasa Sightseeing
Today, we go for a visit of the highest palace in the world—Potala Palace. It is the winter palace of Dalai Lama where Dalai Lama lived and ruled. Visit Sera monastery for the lection debating (except Sundays) in the afternoon.

Day 03:  Lhasa Sightseeing
You will go for a tour of the most renowned temple of Tibet—Jokhang Temple in the morning. In the temple, you can see devout pilgrims doing prayer. Surrounding the temple is the Barkhor Street, where you can buy many souvenirs. Then go to visit Drepung monastery.

Day 04:  Lhasa/Gyangtse
Today we will drive out of Lhasa to Gyantse. On the way, you will visit the famous holy lake named Yamdroktso Lake. You could see it along the road for long distance. When arrive in Gyangtse, we will go to the Pelkhor monastery which is famous for its Kumbu Pagoda.

Day 05:  Gyangtse/Shigatse
After breakfast we will drive to Shigatse. Shigatse is the 2nd largest city in Tibet and also the most important city of rear Tibet. Upon arrival in Shigatse, you will visit the Tashilumpo monastery which is the main attraction of Shigatse, it is one of 6 most famous monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism and it is the residence of Panchen Lama.  The rest time will be spent in local free market; you may find something special goods.

Day 06:  Shigatse/Tingri
Transfer to Tingri. On the way, you will visit small Tibetan villages and appreciate great sightseeing.

Day 07:  Tingri (Shegar)-Rongbuk Monastery-Everest-Tingri
Drive via Pangla Pass to Rongbuk Monastery, world’s highest monastery situated at 5200km. Rongbuk is the power There you can enjoy the highest bronze statue of Buddha, called future Buddha. Place through which all seeking the highest peak via the North Face must pass. It is the sacred threshold to Mt. Everest with the most dramatic views in the world. In the afternoon, you can drive back to Tingri.

Day 08:  Tingri- Lhasa
Drive from Tingri to Lhasa.

Day 09:  Depart Lhasa
Drive to Lhasa Airport. Tour ends.
