Mount Kailash Tour is one of the most popular tour for Hindu Pilgrims and Mountain Lovers. This is Pure holy Hindu sites in Himalayas which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It has another important is Mansarovar Lake, it believes that after taking bath in Mansarovar lake health will be good and easy to get to heaven too.

Kailash and Mansarovar Lake sites are not only for devotees of Hinduism, it is related with other likes Jainism, Buddhism, Bonism and many other faiths. Each year thousands of devotees undertake the treacherous and rigorous journey through the mountains and plains of Nepal and China ( Tibet) to reach this sacred land.

Mt. Kailash is situated in the height of 6,740 meters which lies in the north of the Himalayan barrier, wholly within Tibet. It is the perfect mountain with awesome beauty, with four great faces. It is the spiritual centre for four great religions: Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion and the pre-Buddhist animistic religion – Bonpo. For the Hindus Mount Kailash is the earthly manifestation of Mt. Meru, their spiritual centre of the universe, described as a fantastic ‘world pillar’ 84,000 miles high, around which all else revolves, its roots in the lowest hell and its summit kissing the heavens. On the top live their most revered God, Shiva, and his consort Parvati. For the Jains, an Indian religious group, Kailash is the site where their first prophet achieved enlightenment. For the older, more ancient religion of Bon, it is the site where its founder Shanrab is said to have descended from heaven.

Yama Dwar is the place, from where the group, normally, splits in two parts. Some members will start attempting Parikrama and some will return back to Darchen and wait for those members who have gone for Parikrama. MEMBERS WHO JOINED PARIKRAMA: You will start trekking from “Yama Dwar” to Deraphuk. The trail is quite easy & flat. You have to cross the river a couple of time, other than this, it is quite easy day today. Roughly, you will be crossing 10 km today and it takes around 5 hours. The holiest water pool (glacial lake – Gauri kunda) is just situated beyond the Dolma-La. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva takes bath. From Dolma-La the trail rapidly drops down to the valley floor (Zutulphuk). After making down hill trek to the valley (the next side of the high pass), the trek up to Zutulphuk Gomba requires another two hours. From the valley floor, the trail is flat all the way to Darchen. Today, you will be crossing approximately 22 to 24 km in 8 to 9 hours time. MEMBERS WHO DIDN'T JOIN THE PARIKRAMA: Waiting in Darchen. O/N Local Guesthouse (very basic accommodation with dormitory bed room) Deraphuk to Zutulphuk Gomba: 8 to 9 hours trek (approximately)

Kailash MEMBERS WHO JOINED PARIKRAMA: Today, you will complete your trekking (Parikrama), near Darchen, where you will find our vehicles waiting to fetch you and transfer to Hilsa (3 hours journey). Today, you will trek for another 8 km in 3 to 4 hours time. After finishing Parikrama, the whole group will merge together & drive to Hilsa. Despite of a very basic facility in Hilsa, we will take you there & keep overnight stay because the next day you will be picked up by Helicopter early morning, so you can catch your onward scheduled flights without any problem. WE STRONGLY ADVISE OUR GROUP NOT TO FORCE US TO CHANGE THIS. IF WE ARE FORCED CHANGE, GROUP MEMBERS HAS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR MISSING FLIGHT OF ONWARD DESTINATION. Instead of staying in Hilsa, if you stay in Purang, there is 90% chance of missing your flights from Simikot onward, some times, you even miss international flight.

Early morning, you will be picked up by our Helicopter from Hilsa then brought back to Simikot. From Simikot airport, you will be continuing fly to Nepalgunj then onward to Kathmandu.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International airport for your flight back home.

    Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking

We were 4 people planned to visit Nepal and all of us checked online price and facility of services, comparatively Adventure Land Nepal found average one, then decided to trek to Annapurna Base Camp, after complete the trekking, we would be happy with our decision. Thought that we got right person, right place and right decision, because our trekking organizer was experienced more than 20 years in tourism field. After arriving Nepal and hearing his briefing, it encouraged us to do as soon as possible do this trek.

He provided us nice package, Guide was strong and honest, he always gave an idea, what to do, how and where, these all moments were very valuable for us as we were beginners of trekking. Any way we had a lot enjoy even it was hard to walk in the hill sides. Up and down on the trails, it is really hard, but Mountain view and Nepalese lifestyle, their behave gave us plus point to forget that hardness.

We thanks to Mr Chij, manager of Adventure Land Nepal and Guide mr. Khadka. See you again in next trip.
