The Langtang trek is one of the shorter trekking routes in Nepal. It offers fantastic scenery from the jungle with banana trees and monkeys at lower altitudes to glaciers and ice peaks at higher elevations. Short doesn’t mean easy the route is quite challenging from the beginning with many long and steep ascents which is a typical thing for trekking in Nepal.

Langtang valley is not particularly known for having massive mountain peaks that tower over 8000meters. However, the valley does give opportunities for people to come across splendid and stunning mountain peaks. To watch over the views of over 8000m meter cliffs, you have required quite a flexible schedule.

Langtang Trek – 9 days Detail Itinerary

Namaste and Welcome to Kathmandu. A representative of Good Vive Adventure greets you at the international airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, refresh and rest yourselves. We will briefly explain our tour program in the evening. O/N at Hotel.

In the early morning, the team will head to Shyabru Bensi (1467 m.) by bus. 7-8 hours picturesque scenic bus journey to Shyabru Bensi, passing by the lowland villages and rivers along the route, can reach the start point of the trek. Night at lodge

Another walk through a beautiful forest with Langtang Lirung as the backdrop. When we reach Ghora Tabela, the trail enters green meadows, and we can see the Langtang Range stretching on both sides of the valley. Walking on, the valley widens, and we can see herders graze their livestock on the high summer pastures. Today there are only temporary settlements and an army post situated there. This was once the teaming village of Langtang, with its many trekkers’ tea houses. Today the area is full of boulders, deprived of life after the 2015 earthquake. Walking on a further half an hour or so, we reach the village of Mundu. Our overnight stop at Mundu is very comfortable with its more modern buildings and facilities.

We will continue our Trek leaving Lama hotel behind after having an early morning breakfast. Today we will ascend to Langtang Valley via Mundu where we will have to walk for 6-7 hours. In-between our journey we will come across beautiful waterfalls, prayer flags, water mills, scriptures carved in rocks, a forest of pines and flowers, hills, and Mountains. After entering a wide area of Langtang Valley be ready to get a glimpse of wildlife like Red Panda, Yaks, Himalayan deer and bears, and many more. This is the same village that was destroyed by an Earthquake of 2015. Local inhabitants are trying to recover from the disaster and only a few lodges can be found. Take your time to mourn for those who lost their lives, and remember you have contributed a lot through your journey.

The trail climbs gradually passing through the tiny villages, yak pastures, stone-built houses, and chorten and then passes a huge mani along a gentle path of hill. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyanjin. Today’s hike is short, allowing time to your body to acclimatize and for you to explore the surrounding a. It is a dramatic setting, with snow covered peaks surrounding you in all directions. At this point, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Dorje Larpa, Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung and several other peaks. You can explore the monastery and the cheese factory if you prefer Overnight: Tea House.

Early morning, we visit to Tserko Ria (5000m/16,404ft) for stunning sunrise views. After breakfast, continue to Lama Hotel. Since it is basically downhill, it is 5/ 6 hours stroll from Kanjin Gompa to get to the Lama Hotel. Pass ethnic Tamang settlements who take after religious and social views like the Tibetans.

On this day, we again trek back our steps through the Bamboo and rhododendron forests to finally reach Syabrubeshi. This not a long day of walk it takes only 4-5 hour. Enjoy the night at one of the local lodge at Syabrubesi. Enjoy the last dinner together with guide and porter.

With an early morning breakfast, hop up in the ride to Kathmandu. Enjoy the views and admire the beauty of the Langtang region till the next time. Upon your Kathmandu arrival you can visit local market or join for some cultural dinner at Thamel.

I really like Pokhara city in whole trip of Nepal Package Tour, I joined with group for Nepal round trip, I looked around the internet to find group and joining, finally found Adventure Land Nepal Tour and Travel to provide group joining or fixed departure tour.

I liked Pokhara very much, great Himalayan view from room, big lakes along with Pokhara city, close to hiking hills, greenery surrounding the city, fresh air and attractive spots.

It was 9 people group, other friend also from different cities and countries. I got new experience to share our feeling and experience to each other.

It was 12 days Nepal trip, took us different cities and wildlife safari in Chitwan, explored culture, tradition, world heritage sites, buddhist monastery, Stupa, Temple etc which were unique and pilgrimage places to visit.

Our tour guide Prashant has explained in detail everywhere, which makes very interesting and enjoyable because we learnt a lot about Nepal. It was meaning full trip that different things different knowledge via Guide, he led us nicely and right way to get to places on time. we secured well enough time to use. Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking

We were 4 people planned to visit Nepal and all of us checked online price and facility of services, comparatively Adventure Land Nepal found average one, then decided to trek to Annapurna Base Camp, after complete the trekking, we would be happy with our decision. Thought that we got right person, right place and right decision, because our trekking organizer was experienced more than 20 years in tourism field. After arriving Nepal and hearing his briefing, it encouraged us to do as soon as possible do this trek.

He provided us nice package, Guide was strong and honest, he always gave an idea, what to do, how and where, these all moments were very valuable for us as we were beginners of trekking. Any way we had a lot enjoy even it was hard to walk in the hill sides. Up and down on the trails, it is really hard, but Mountain view and Nepalese lifestyle, their behave gave us plus point to forget that hardness.

We thanks to Mr Chij, manager of Adventure Land Nepal and Guide mr. Khadka. See you again in next trip.
