Langtang Valley Trek is short distance trekking from Kathmandu. which is the nearest mountainous region from Kathmandu. It lies to the north of Kathmandu valley and just south of Tibetan border. The Langtang valley is surrounded by high peaks of great appeal. It become famous ever since the British mountaineer Bill Tillman described it as the most beautiful valley in the world. The highest peaks that can be seen in this area are Sisapangma (Tibetan mountain border) Ganesh Himal range, Langtang, Langtang Ri, Dorjelakpa, Langsisa Ri and many more. The Sherpas in this region have traditions and cultures that are different to those in the Everest region. This trek can be customized according to the needs of our clients. The trek starts from Dhunche and ending in Kathmandu.

Langtang Valley Trek – 12 days Detail Itinerary
Our representative welcomed you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to Hotel. He will explain briefly about your trip and free yourself.
Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath Temple , Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight at Hotel.
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi which takes about eight hours by bus/jeep. Trekking trails head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trisuli River you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are heading towards deep land. At the same time, you notice that the road is still under construction. Overnight at Guest House.
Trekking route to Lama Hotel, this crosses through Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail is gradually climbs to Bamboo passing through the Landslide area. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Ramche (2400 meters) through Bamboo (1960 meters) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. En route trekker can see red pandas, monkeys and bears if you’re lucky. Overnight at Guest House.
This trekking route follows Gumanechok, Ghoda Tabela, it means the Horse Stable. After this trail is gradually and beautiful in the valley with the grazing Yaks. Langtang village is local and old villages along this trekking route and the view from here is more spectacular. Overnight at Guest House.
This trekking route is a short walk but it gives enough for acclimatization. The surroundings are interesting also because of the famous Cheese factory. This beautiful valley is locate in the lap of the Langtang Lirung and other around. Kyangjing Gompa Area is a place to explore the valley and lots of small peaks to climb. Overnight at Lodge or Guest House.
Today is a day to rest and explore the area. One can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin RI (4350 meters) which is highest point of this trek, directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks. Overnight at Guest House.
This day, you will be back same way as you went previous route.
This day, morning after breakfast come back to Syabrubesi.
This day after breakfast, you will be come back to Kathmandu by Vehicle.
This day, you will be free for shopping or free time whole day.
This is final departure day from Kathmandu, we will see you off at Hotel and transfer to International airport of Kathmandu.
